A freelance photographer and full-time creative professional, Justin currently lives and works in the fine city of Richmond,VA. He's spent much of his career working in and around the hospitality industry, everything from line cook emptying grease traps to marketing manager representing multiple restaurants. The knowledge of restaurants both inside and out gives him a unique perspective and ability to create bold, honest images. It is his belief that every photograph should not nor need not be orchestrated to obscene detail because there's a certain beauty found in spontaneity and 'imperfection'. Having not attended art school and learned his creative trades through trial (and error) he approaches every project without hubris, but plenty of adaptability and collaborative spirit. When he's not behind a lens, in front of a computer screen, or writing about himself in the third person you can likely find him bellied up to a restaurant bar enjoying a good meal or cruising the street in search of neon signs.
